We block spam so that our users get only what they are looking for from our site.
We block spam by filtering every post through an admin or moderator. No post will now be seen before an admin checks it. This will not effect users who post relevant information except the post may be delayed. for the spammers it will waste alot of their time for no results.

I think this is a great idea, it became a bit annoying having to delete all the stupid spam posts. Now users will get the info they need.
