    Heat in the summer periods can cause discomfort and illness, prolonged dry warm spells can cause drought and wild fire can be a problem at some UK locations throughout certain months of the year. During dry periods from early March till late may is a high risk period as is mid Autumn. Long spells of dry weather in the summer can also cause a wildfire risk.
    A seasonal dry spell can cause drought and water restrictions and shortages.
